St. Gabriel's Anglican church in Richmond Hill is now closed.
Dear Friends and former members of St Gabriel’s Church, we are sorry to inform you that St Gabriel’s Church closed on 31st December 2006.
A combination of mounting financial pressures coupled with low attendance had resulted in a situation where we were unable to meet our financial obligations. After a long consultation process, a motion was passed by the congregation that the parish be disestablished and therefore the building will be deconsecrated and services cease at this location on December 31st.
Our church closed on 31st December 2006 at a service of deconsecration, presided over by the Right Reverend George Elliott, Bishop of York-Simcoe.

St. Gabriels Church Closed
St. Gabriels closed on 31st December 2006. Our last service was very well attended and we thank everyone who came to wish us well in this transition.

Anne is away from July 15th to August 16th. Plans are being made for individuals to lead the Sunday services during her absence.

New sign on Bayview
We have a new sign on Bayview Avenue. The permit allows us to display it for 45 days, so keep an eye out!
