Rev. Anne Moore

Anne has been the priest-in-charge of St. Gabriel's since 2001, having come to the parish from a three congregation, rural parish in southeastern Ontario.  She is a graduate of Wycliffe College, (the University of Toronto), and Queen's University, Kingston.

Anne is a "cradle" Anglican, growing up in a family which went to church regularly but it wasn't until her mid-twenties that she became aware of the Living God and committed her life to Him. She accepted her call to full-time ordained ministry a number of years later.

She has a deep concern for bringing the ministry of prayer and healing to the centre of the community life of St. Gabriel's. "Alpha" courses have been a big part of accomplishing that goal: as more and more people come into a relationship with Jesus as Lord, and a new understanding of the power of God, expectation of receiving healing grows. Evangelism becomes much easier as parishioners share with their friends the wonderful things that God has done in their lives.

Sunday sermons become a place where the power of God can be talked about, not only in Bible stories but in real life situations. After each service, prayer teams are ready to pray for any need, if asked. Anne looks forward to a real awakening of the things of God at St. Gabriel's, which will, in turn, lead to service in our community.
